NY Traffic Ran third in his September 2019 career debut at Parx Racing, but proved in his second start by winning by 3 1/4 lengths. The gray colt made his 3 year old debut a winning one wiring the field in January at Gulfstream. He made his first stakes debut in the Risen Stakes in February where he would finish 3rd to Modernist and would follow that up with a 2nd place in the Lousiana Derby finishing behind Wells Bayou.
NY Traffic has also raced against at one time top derby contender Maxfield, finishing 2nd in the Matt Winn Stakes. Shortly after he would rally and finish a nose shy of Authentic in the Haskell.
NY Traffic is a hard runner for not being in the spotlight and regarded as a top Kentucky Derby threat. He is definitely a horse to consider in any exotic wagering to use underneath. The colt has been putting up some great workouts ahead of his Kentucky Derby run. This is one to watch.
