Maximum Security vs Improbable in the Awesome Again Stakes

The Awesome Again stakes will be ran Saturday September 26, 2020 as the last stop for the West Coast road to the Breeders Cup Classic in November at Keeneland. This $300,000 stakes race will feature 2 stablemates, Maximum Security and Improbable.

Also in the five-horse field are last-out allowance optional claiming winner Take the One O One, Sleepy Eyes Todd, and dual graded winner Midcourt. All have frontrunning or up-close running styles. Currently first and fourth in the Breeders' Cup Classic rankings, Maximum Security and Improbable last met almost a year and a half ago in the 2019 Kentucky Derby.
