Week 8 College Football

Another week of college football for us this week. There are a few games on the slate that look like promising good games. and with bowl season approaching the top seeds are making sure they don't slip up. Georgia is on a bye, Cincinnati has an easy win against Navy, Oklahoma should bury Kansas, and Alabama faces SEC foe Tennessee. I see all of these teams holding their top spot for the College Football Playoffs. #5 Ohio State has an interesting game against IU. I think it will be a competitive game but IU has lost so of their talent that they possessed last season.

- Again Oklahoma St is facing a tough Big 12 opponent. After handling Texas last week they will look to stay a top of the rankings and tied with Oklahoma in conference standings. The defense will again have to step up on the road, but the offense needs to keep pace and get hot early to control this game. I really like the +7.5 spread here for OK St.

-The Ducks are the Pac-12's last hope to reach the College Football Playoff. The Bruins are trying to stay in the race to reach the conference title game. UCLA coach Chip Kelly went 46-7 in four seasons at Oregon. Kelly is 0-2 against the Ducks since joining the Bruins, including a 38-35 defeat in his return to Eugene, Oregon last season.

- Alabama (6-1, 3-1 Southeastern Conference) is but the Volunteers (4-3, 2-2) have enjoyed a resurgence in coach Josh Heupel's first season. Tennessee had a two-game winning streak snapped with a 31-26 loss to No. 12 Mississippi that garnered more attention for the behavior of unruly fans throwing objects onto the field.
